The Journey – Day by Day
Day 1: Welcome to Antananarivo
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. The perfect start to your adventure!
Day 2 to Day 5: From Antsirabe to the Tsiribihina River and Bekopaka
After visiting the “City of Salt” Antsirabe, the journey continues to Miandrivazo, the starting point of your three-day boat trip on the Tsiribihina River. Enjoy the calm of the river, discover brown lemurs, spectacular waterfalls, and charming fishing villages. Your journey ends in Bekopaka, at the edge of the impressive limestone mountains of Tsingy de Bemaraha.
Day 6 to Day 7: Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park
Look forward to a thrilling hike through this UNESCO World Heritage National Park. From panoramic views of the majestic rock formations to the wildlife – here you will experience Madagascar up close. A pirogue ride also takes you past Sakalava tombs and underground caves.
Day 8 to Day 10: From Kirindy to Belo sur Mer
Your journey continues to the Kirindy Private Reserve, famous for its nocturnal lemurs and chameleons. You will also visit the famous “Lover’s Baobab” and Baobab Alley. In Belo sur Mer, you will discover a traditional wooden boat factory and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of a charming fishing village.
Day 11 to Day 16: Nature and Beaches
The Kirindy-Mitea National Park impresses with pink flamingos and other exotic species. Along white sandy beaches and through Baobab forests, your journey continues through Manja, Morombe, and Andavadoaka, eventually reaching the paradise beaches of Salary and Ifaty. Here you can snorkel, swim, or explore the surroundings by quad bike and pirogue.
Day 17 to Day 18: Return to Antananarivo and Departure
After a flight back to Antananarivo, you will have time to visit the sights of the capital, including the Royal Palace and the famous handicraft market. On the final day, we will take you to the airport for your return flight.
